National Abortion Federation (NAF) Learning Lab

NAF offers a comprehensive course catalog through its Learning Lab, including a structured curriculum designed for new clinical learners in abortion care. This training covers the fundamentals of abortion care, including:

  • Medication abortion

  • Procedural abortion (aspiration and dilation & evacuation)

  • Pain management

  • Trauma-informed care

  • Patient counseling

The NAF Learning Lab is a members-only resource. However, many abortion clinics and training institutions are already NAF members. If your institution is a member, you can add visiting learners to your member roster to provide them with access.

Learners can also access NAF's Learning Lab by becoming a member. Membership includes discounted meeting registration. To join, there is a one-time $50 application fee and annual dues of $150. For learner membership, contact: membership@prochoice.org.
